Job Summary

Entry-level Quality/Inspection role focused on performing  mechanical, physical, and visual inspections of raw materials, components, and sub-assemblies. The position ensures compliance with  internal specifications, engineering drawings, and regulatory standards (cGMP/FDA) . Responsibilities include executing  routine and non-routine inspections , using precision measurement tools (microscopes, calipers, micrometers), supporting  quality documentation , and assisting in  document archival and compliance processes . The role also involves handling repetitive inspection tasks and contributing to quality assurance initiatives and special projects.

Skills Required

• Visual inspection and quality control techniques
• Use of microscopes, calipers, micrometers
• Basic functional testing knowledge
• Understanding of engineering drawings and specifications
• cGMP and quality system compliance awareness
• Basic computer proficiency (data entry, documentation systems)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Communication skills (written & verbal)
• Ability to handle repetitive tasks efficiently

Experience Required

• Entry-level; prior inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
• Experience in quality inspection, production, or assembly environments is advantageous
• Exposure to medical device, regulated industry, or FDA standards preferred
• Familiarity with quality documentation, audits, or compliance processes is a plus

Education Required

• High School Diploma or GED (mandatory)
