Electrical Construction Project Manager

Key Responsibilities: Manage project schedules, milestones, and financial performance from kickoff to closeout. Maintain strong customer relationships and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Oversee and process change orders while managing their impact on cost, schedule, and scope. Coordinate material procurement and ensure timely delivery to support project timelines. Manage project billing and financial tracking. Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents. Perform material takeoffs and assist with bid preparation and review. Prepare and submit accurate project estimates. Develop and maintain long-term relationships with key clients. Manage major accounts and contribute to generating at least $1M in new business annually. Conduct regular jobsite visits and attend project meetings. Build strong working relationships with field teams and collaborate with site superintendents. Ensure project work aligns with plans, safety standards, and client expectations. Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and other team members. Take ownership of project performance, including schedule, quality, and financial outcomes. Collaborate with office staff and internal departments to ensure project success. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably within electrical construction or electrical testing services. Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills. Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Working knowledge of high‑voltage (HV), medium‑voltage (MV), and low‑voltage (LV) electrical systems. Familiarity with construction safety standards and OSHA regulations (OSHA 10 preferred). PMP or Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus. Experience working with a NETA‑accredited company is a plus. Willingness to travel to job sites approximately 10% of the time. #J-18808-Ljbffr
