Senior Cloud Backend Engineer (Go / AWS)

Requirements

• 7 or more years of experience in backend software engineering with a primary focus on Golang development.

• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud architecture and serverless computing ecosystems.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

• Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining high-throughput RESTful APIs and microservices.

• Experience with containerization technologies including Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes.

• Experience in automating continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

• Excellent communication and collaborative problem-solving skills to partner with cross-functional technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend microservices utilizing Golang.

• Deploy and manage resilient, secure cloud infrastructure resources within Amazon Web Services.

• Automate environment provisioning and infrastructure management utilizing modular Infrastructure as Code templates.

• Design robust REST and gRPC API endpoints to facilitate seamless inter-service communication.

• Optimize application throughput, reduce latency, and resolve critical production defects across distributed systems.

• Establish automated build, test, and release workflows across continuous integration and deployment pipelines.

• Collaborate closely with engineering peers and stakeholders to review system designs and code quality.
