Administrative Assistant To The Principal

Reports To: Building Principal

Qualifications:

• High school diploma/equivalent
• Computer/technology and business machines experience
• Secretarial and data processing skills
• Respect for confidentiality
• Must be able to use tact and diplomacy in human relations

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate student activity accounts
• Building financial management/procurement
• Coordinate all building ordering
• Coordinate staffing coverage
• Assist with grading report cards/quarter letters
• Coordinate parent/teacher conferences fall and winter
• Assist with student discipline
• Registration for students
• Maintain teacher and student records
• Answer incoming calls and directing accordingly
• Assist at front desk with students, staff and guests
• Coordinate of end-of-year staff check out
• Schedule building usage and secure contracts
• Coordinate emergency drills and update building maps
• Ability to work closely with other secretaries/aides
• Other tasks or responsibilities as directed by the principal
• Adhere to the district's expectations with regards to attendance and punctuality
