Phlebotomist

Phlebotomist – Parlier, CA Labcorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Parlier, CA. Work Schedule Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Additional hours and rotating weekends may be required. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other analyses. Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Complete administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Qualifications High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent. Valid California State issued Phlebotomy License. (An application for the license filed with the CA Department of Health at the time of hire may satisfy the requirement.) Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Availability to attend 2-week training in California. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 month of experience as a phlebotomist. Current or prior experience with Labcorp. Salary & Incentives Pay Range: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour. Quarterly Incentive Bonus Program: PSTs may be eligible to participate in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible only for the 401(k) plan.
