Incoming Inspector

Job Description Russ Hadick & Associates, Inc., a 40+ year professional search and recruiting firm, has partnered with a client in the Greater Hartford, CT area to help them search and qualify candidates for their Incoming Inspector position within aerospace manufacturing. This is a newly created role driven by continued growth and increased demand. The company is looking to add to their quality team to support incoming material inspection and supplier quality. Incoming Inspection & Quality Perform incoming inspection of raw materials, hardware, components, and assemblies Verify certifications, test reports, and supplier documentation for accuracy and compliance Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using standard inspection tools Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements Record inspection results in quality systems and maintain accurate documentation Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming materials Support nonconformance reports (NCRs) and supplier corrective actions Maintain traceability and inspection status of materials Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Manufacturing teams Support internal and external audits as needed Background & Experience Experience – Minimum 2+ years of inspection experience within aerospace or regulated manufacturing environments . Experience with receiving or supplier quality inspection preferred. Technical Skills Technical Skills – Proficiency with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, and comparators . Strong ability to read blueprints and working knowledge of GD&T . Education Education – High school diploma or GED required.
