DUTY STATEMENT AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Functions:
- Process Payroll.
- Manage reports and timecard adjustments.
- Manage employee transfers, promotions, and terminations.
- Audit employee personnel files to ensure compliance.
- Verify hours worked for credentialing.
- Complete garnishments paid sick leave adjustments, and KPI updates.
- Provide support to HR team in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation, etc., and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Direct employees to the prospective HR Generalist/Specialist/Assistant based on qualifying reasons.
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
- Maintain timely and reliable attendance.
- Ensure compliance with all company and government regulatory standards in compensation, benefits, affirmative action, employment law, and diversity.
- Perform life-saving measures when needed to protect the lives of Cedar House clients and employees.
- Consistently applies trauma-responsive practices to promote safety, trust, and healing.
- Required to train or assist in the trainings of co-workers as needed.
- Other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
- Previous experience in Human Resources (required)
Education:
- Have completed 12 years of education or GED.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field required or equivalent experience (required).
- HR Professional Designation Certification (preferred)
- Complete continuing education and trainings as required by Cedar House, County, and State mandates.
- Maintain current CPR/First Aid/AED.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time. They will also need to move around inside the office occasionally to access filing cabinets, office machinery, etc. The employee must be capable of operating a computer and other office productivity machinery. There may be occasions where the employee needs to climb up or down a ladder or equipment and position themselves to maintain files in file cabinets. It is essential for the employee to communicate information and ideas clearly so that others can understand. They must also be able to provide accurate information in these situations. The employee should be able to observe details at close range and occasionally move boxes weighing up to 20 pounds for various reasons. Additionally, the employee may need to work around or be exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
