Location: Fontana, CA, USA

Pay Range: $23 USD to $26 USD

Key Responsibilities:

• Process payroll on a weekly, bi-weekly, and/or monthly basis for approximately 600 employees using the UKG platform.
• Ensure payroll transactions are processed efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with all applicable laws, collective bargaining agreements, and internal policies.
• Administer payroll for employees covered by Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA).
• Process special payrolls and off-cycle requests as needed.
• Manage union payroll processes, vacation payouts, PTO processing, and time-off reporting.
• Administer wage garnishments, direct deposit, and pay card setups.
• Reconcile payroll reports and research/resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Partner with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee records and payroll data.
• Assist with internal and external audits and payroll-related reporting requests.
• Stay current on payroll laws, regulations, and system updates impacting payroll operations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of payroll experience, including at least 1 year using UKG systems (UKG Pro, UKG Ready, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of payroll best practices and compliance requirements at the local, state, and federal levels.
• Experience processing payroll for union and non-union employees preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll-related software tools.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Schedule:

• 8-hour shift
• Monday through Friday
• Overtime as required
