Sr. Manager, Global Compliance (Trade & Enterprise Compliance)

Position Summary Sr. Manager, Global Compliance (Trade & Enterprise Compliance) – responsible for leading Brooks’ global trade compliance program and expanding enterprise‑wide compliance governance across the organization. Key Responsibilities Trade Compliance (Core Foundation) : Lead the global trade compliance program, including export controls, sanctions, customs, and import/export compliance; serve as the subject‑matter expert for trade regulations; ensure policies, procedures, controls, and training are risk‑based, scalable, and audit‑ready; oversee investigations, disclosures, and remediation; monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on operations. Enterprise Compliance Expansion : Partner with Legal and business leaders to design, implement, and mature the broader compliance program aligned with DOJ guidance, RBA requirements, and leading practices; take ownership of third‑party risk management, ethics & compliance program execution, regulatory compliance oversight, policy governance, and internal controls; reposition compliance as a business enabler and risk discipline. Program Leadership & Governance : Translate regulatory requirements into clear expectations and accountability; develop and track compliance metrics; partner with EHS & Sustainability leaders to align trade, human rights, RBA, and responsible sourcing expectations; prepare materials for senior leadership and board discussions. Business Partnership : Act as a trusted advisor to global business and functional leaders, balancing rigor with pragmatism; provide solutions that protect the company without slowing the business unnecessarily; build credibility through strong judgment, clear communication, and consistent follow‑through. Qualifications & Experience 10+ years of experience in trade compliance, regulatory compliance, or related legal/compliance roles. Demonstrated depth in export controls, sanctions, customs, and global trade regulations. Experience operating in a global, matrixed organization. Strong interest in and aptitude for expanding into enterprise compliance leadership. Ability to engage credibly with senior leaders while driving execution at the working level. Law degree or advanced compliance certification a plus but not required. What Success Looks Like Maintaining a strong, risk‑based trade compliance posture with no material breakdowns while ensuring business continuity. Embedding a broader compliance program that is integrated, proactive, and risk‑based. Business leaders understanding compliance expectations and viewing the function as a partner, not a blocker. Compensation & Benefits Base Salary Range: $148,351.35 USD to $200,710.65 USD (geography, skills, education, experience and other qualifications considered). Eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
