Maintenance Supervisor (2nd shift)

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance team and ensuring the efficient operation, reliability, and safety of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role coordinates preventive and corrective maintenance activities, minimizes downtime, and supports continuous improvement initiatives within the plant. Key Responsibilities Supervise, train, and schedule maintenance technicians and mechanics Plan and oversee preventive maintenance (PM) programs for machinery and equipment Respond to equipment breakdowns and ensure timely repairs to minimize production downtime Coordinate with production teams to prioritize maintenance activities Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements or upgrades Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment logs Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with purchasing as needed Assist in capital projects, equipment installations, and facility upgrades Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for maintenance Control maintenance costs and adhere to departmental budgets Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications Experience with PLCs and automation systems Certification in maintenance, reliability, or related field Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience Welding, fabrication, or advanced electrical skills Compensation $115,000-120,000 Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications. #J-18808-Ljbffr Soni
