Used Car Buyer Base Pay: $2,930.00 – $10,000.00/Month Job Category: USED Employee Type: Non-Exempt Full‑Time Required Degree: High school diploma or equivalent Qualifications Driver's License Education High school diploma or the equivalent. Physical Requirements Spend time indoors in air‑conditioned areas. Sitting, standing, walking on a regular basis. Bending, twisting, and/or stooping infrequently. Grasping/grabbing with hands infrequently. Pushing and pulling. Devote themselves to ensuring customer satisfaction. Determine management, production and quality requirements by asking questions and listening. Attend company meetings as required. Maintain a follow‑up system encouraging follow‑through with assigned projects. Establish personal performance goals consistent with company standards of productivity and devise a strategy to meet them. Review and analyze actions at the end of each day, week, month, and year to determine how to better utilize time and plans more effectively. Understand the terminology of the business and keep abreast of technology changes in products and services. Know and understand federal, state and local requirements governing the company’s business. Follow lawful directions from supervisors. Understand and follow work rules and procedures. Participate in performance management. Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale. Uphold the company’s nondisclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements. Work evening, weekend and holiday hours as required. Job‑Specific Expectations Purchase a minimum of 15 vehicles per month. Complete an average of 40 outbound activities (calls, texts, emails) per day. Maintain an average response time of 10 minutes or less. Send an introductory video to every acquisition lead. Process all required documentation to purchase a vehicle. Add purchased units into the store’s inventory using DMS. Responsible for daily, weekly, and monthly reporting. Utilize CRM for communication with customers as required. Train, encourage and coach new acquisition team members. Develop relationships with guests and lead them through the acquisition process. Follow up with customers after the acquisition process. Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations affecting vehicle sales. Maintain professional appearance in accordance with the employee handbook. Log every activity in CRM with supporting notes. Follow all documented Niello Buy Center and appraisal processes. Attend all required meetings. Other duties as assigned. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonuses or commissions.
