Accountant

Exciting opportunity for a dependable and experienced Accountant for large non profit organization. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts, and contributing to strategic financial decision-making. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background, excellent organizational skills, and a demonstrated history of stability, reliability, and professionalism.

Accountant Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 37.00 / hour
  • Part Time work available
  • First Shift ( Monday through Friday )
  • Oversee daily accounting operations.
  • Maintain financial records and reports.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards.
  • Coordinate departmental scheduling and workload.
  • Improve accounting processes and efficiencies.
  • Partner with management on financial planning.

Accountant Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Accounting leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Applicant may be subject to a background check
  • Applicant may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Report
  • Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
