Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Cape Coral, a vibrant community known for its picturesque landscapes and supportive atmosphere for health and wellness. The work schedule is from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life harmony while ensuring you have ample time to focus on your patients each day. Our clinic is equipped with modern therapeutic equipment and resources that facilitate effective treatment methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Atlantic Health Therapy, your role will include a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing patient recovery and well-being:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
• Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions, leveraging your expertise in orthopedic care to improve patient functionality.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software, particularly Web PT, to ensure accurate and efficient record-keeping.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercises, lifestyle modifications, and non-surgical alternatives to manage their conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, sharing insights and strategies to foster holistic patient care.
• Provide guidance and motivation to empower patients throughout their treatment journey, encouraging adherence to prescribed therapy regimens.
• Regularly reassess treatment effectiveness and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your focus will predominantly be on an outpatient population consisting of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, sports-related issues, and post-operative rehabilitation. You will be integral in guiding patients to regain their strength, flexibility, and coordination, essential for day-to-day activities. Our diverse patient demographic requires attentiveness to each person's unique recovery journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for our Physical Therapist position should possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Florida, reflecting a strong commitment to professional standards.
• A clean professional record with no history of sanctions or proceedings, ensuring your capability to deliver safe patient care.
• Proficient skills in manual therapy modalities, coupled with the ability to design effective exercise protocols tailored to individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
