OnTrack Physical Therapy & Wellness is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic Orthopedic Outpatient Unit in Cape Coral, Florida. Work Environment

The role of the Physical Therapist is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility located in Cape Coral, Florida. The environment is collaborative, with physical therapists forming the majority of our clinical staff. You will work alongside an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, all dedicated to maximizing patient outcomes in a supportive, patient-centered atmosphere. Our typical working hours are Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients by reviewing medical histories, performing specific assessments, and documenting findings to create personalized treatment plans.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols based on assessment results, ensuring protocols align with the latest evidence-based practices.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on clinical insights and changes in patient conditions.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, patients, and their families to foster an environment of respect and collaboration throughout the care process.
• Ensure appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care is conducted, including comprehensive documentation of the patient's treatment journey and progress.
• Stay up-to-date with state, local, and federal regulations, completing all required training and compliance measures.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with various orthopedic populations, including post-operative patients, individuals recovering from sports injuries, and those managing chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to utilize a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to each patient's unique circumstances, thus enhancing their recovery and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida is mandatory.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification is required.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy role, particularly within an orthopedic setting, is highly desired. Candidates with prior experience in outpatient rehabilitation and familiarity with the latest therapeutic techniques and tools will have an advantage in our hiring process.
