Account Manager

A well-established and client-focused insurance agency in Marina Del Ray, CA is seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join its growing team. The Account Manager will be responsible for servicing and maintaining a diverse book of business while supporting client retention, policy management, renewals, and day‑to‑day account servicing activities. This individual will play a key role in supporting long‑term client relationships and ensuring a high level of service across a specialized and established client base. Key Responsibilities Manage and service a book of commercial lines accounts Handle policy renewals, endorsements, certificates, and day‑to‑day client requests Build and maintain strong client relationships through responsive and consultative service Support remarketing efforts and assist with obtaining competitive coverage solutions Work closely with producers, carriers, and internal team members to ensure smooth account management Review coverages and identify gaps or opportunities to better support clients’ insurance needs Maintain accurate client records, documentation, and policy information within agency management systems Assist with claims support and policy troubleshooting as needed Required Qualifications 4–7 years of experience in commercial lines insurance account management Strong understanding of commercial real estate and/or construction‑related accounts preferred Experience handling renewals, endorsements, certificates, and carrier communications Demonstrated ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively Strong communication, organizational, and client relationship management skills Ability to work independently in a hybrid/remote environment California insurance license preferred or ability to obtain promptly Experience with agency management systems and carrier portals preferred Additional Position Highlights Hybrid schedule of 2–3 days in‑office during the first 3 months for onboarding and team integration After the initial onboarding period, employees are given significant flexibility and autonomy with their schedule and work environment Collaborative, relationship‑driven agency culture with strong long‑term client retention This is an excellent opportunity for an insurance professional seeking flexibility, long‑term growth, and exposure to a unique and relationship‑driven client base within a respected and growing organization.
