Video and Social Content Manager (Nashville)

SlickText is looking for a Video & Social Content Manager to own how we show up through video and organic social.

This is a hands-on role for a marketer who knows how to make great content—not just build a calendar and hand production to someone else. You’ll develop ideas, write scripts, get in front of the camera, shoot and edit video, publish it, distribute it, and use performance data to make the next piece better.

Video will be the biggest part of the job. You’ll own our YouTube strategy across long-form and short-form content, create educational and product-focused videos, support video creative for paid campaigns, and turn SlickText’s expertise into content people actually want to watch.

You’ll also own our organic social presence, contribute to our AEO and search visibility strategy, and help grow SlickText’s audience through creators, publishers, YouTube channels, podcasts, and other content partnerships.

You’ll work closely with our marketing team, product teammates, and internal subject-matter experts—but we’re looking for someone who can ultimately own the work end-to-end.

This is a hybrid role based in Nashville, TN, reporting to the Director of Marketing. You’ll work closely with the rest of our marketing team, product teammates, and internal subject-matter experts. Because filming and collaboration are important parts of the job, we’re looking for someone who can regularly work with the team in person. 

What you’ll do

Own video from idea to publication

• Develop video concepts based on customer questions, search and AEO insights, product expertise, industry trends, and marketing priorities.
• Own SlickText’s YouTube strategy across long-form and short-form video, including titles, thumbnails, descriptions, chapters, publishing, and video SEO.
• Research topics, develop outlines, and write scripts in collaboration with internal subject-matter experts.
• Shoot, edit, and publish polished video content.
• Ideally, be comfortable appearing on camera when needed, while also bringing other SlickText experts into content.
• Create educational, product, Help Center, webinar, customer-story, feature launch, and paid advertising videos, while repurposing strong ideas into additional videos, clips, and social content.
• Use performance data to continually improve what we create.

Own organic social and content distribution

• Manage SlickText’s organic social calendar, including writing, creating, scheduling, and publishing content across social channels.
• Turn videos, product expertise, research, company news, and other marketing work into useful social content.
• Work with our digital marketer and designer on strategy and creative.
• Use AEO, search, and audience insights to create content that earns visibility across search, AI, social, and third-party sources.

Expand our audience through creators and publishers

• Identify creators, YouTube channels, publishers, newsletters, podcasts, and other relevant partners.
• Own outreach for collaborations, sponsorships, guest appearances, webinars, and co-created content.
• Develop and pitch concepts that are valuable to both SlickText and the partner’s audience.
• Manage partnerships from initial outreach through execution and measurement.

What we’re looking for

We care much more about what you’ve made and what you can make than checking a specific number of years of experience.

You’ll likely be a strong fit if you:

• Are a marketer first, with video as one of your strongest skills.
• Have significant hands-on experience shooting and editing video with a strong portfolio of video and social content.
• Can autonomously take a project from an initial idea through scripting, filming, editing, publishing, and distribution.
• Ideally, are comfortable appearing on camera and contributing as on-screen talent when it makes sense.
• Can turn complicated subjects into clear, interesting stories.
• Write strong scripts and social copy that don’t sound like corporate marketing.
• Understand YouTube, video SEO, and the fundamentals of search-driven content.
• Are curious about how AI is changing content discovery and how content earns visibility in AI-generated answers.
• Use data to understand why content worked—or didn’t—and adjust accordingly.
• Can learn a technical product and industry deeply enough to create content with real substance.

Prior SaaS experience is a plus, but not required. Great B2B or B2C marketing experience can be equally relevant if you’ve demonstrated that you can learn a product, understand an audience, and turn that knowledge into strong content.
