Supply Chain Technician | Surgical & Invasive Services Be the Connection Behind Exceptional Patient Care What You'll Do Ensure critical medical supplies, implants, grafts, tissue products, and equipment are available when needed Receive, distribute, and replenish inventory accurately and efficiently Monitor inventory levels and maintain organized stock locations Perform cycle counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy Track and manage expiration dates, recalls, lot numbers, backorders, and product documentation Rotate inventory to reduce waste and support quality standards Pick supplies and assemble case carts for upcoming surgical procedures Restock unused supplies following procedures and maintain inventory integrity Collaborate with clinical teams, Sterile Processing, and Supply Chain partners to address shortages and urgent requests Maintain accurate records of ordered, purchased, received, and returned products Help identify and solve inventory discrepancies and operational challenges Keep workspaces clean, organized, and audit-ready Why You'll Love This Role Make a direct impact on patient care without being at the bedside Work alongside highly skilled surgical and procedural teams Utilize inventory management technology and healthcare supply chain systems Develop expertise in healthcare logistics and inventory management Join a collaborative team committed to excellence and service Qualifications Required High School Diploma, GED, HSED, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations, healthcare support, or a related field Associate Degree Experience with healthcare inventory or materials management systems Experience with PeopleSoft MMIS, Par Excellence, Q‑Sight, or similar inventory management software Hospital, surgical services, or clinical support experience What Makes You Successful Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize work in a fast‑paced healthcare environment Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams Strong sense of accountability and ownership Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and urgent patient care needs High level of situational awareness and professionalism Tools & Equipment You'll Use Handheld scanners Inventory management software and computerized systems Barcode printers, printers, and office technology Supply chain and warehouse equipment such as carts, hand trucks, dollies, and balers Children's Wisconsin is an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
