About the Role:

We’re seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant Cardiology with at least 1 years of experience in a clinical setting. In this role, you’ll help coordinate patient care, support treatment plans, and enhance the overall patient experience. Athena EMR or cardiology experience is a plus!

Qualifications:

Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant
Experience with Athena EMR preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

\nCompany Description

Dr. Turbay is a leading cardiologist in El Paso, Texas, with over 20+ years of experience treating cardiology patients. Raised in Barranquilla, Colombia, Dr. Turbay is bilingual, proficient in both English and Spanish. He completed his studies at Harvard Medical School, Baylor College of Medicine, and Boston University. He finished his cardiology training at one of the most renowned hospitals in the United States, Mass General Hospital. Currently, Dr. Turbay stands as the sole certified practitioner in Advanced Heart Failure Therapies in El Paso. This includes expertise in heart transplant and left ventricular assist device (LVADs) evaluations and management.
