About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President of Procurement to join its Executive Leadership Team and lead a strategic and operational transformation of the procurement function. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with the company's long-term growth objectives. This includes leading enterprise-wide supplier consolidation initiatives, driving significant cost reduction across a substantial annual spend, and overseeing centralized sourcing, inventory planning, and tactical procurement functions. The role demands an executive with a proven track record in procurement, sourcing, and supply chain, particularly in the areas of supplier relationship optimization, and the development of best-in-class sourcing strategies. Key responsibilities for the Senior Vice President of Procurement at the company include leading contract negotiations, building strategic supplier partnerships, and developing company-wide procurement and supply chain KPIs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both direct and indirect procurement, experience in supporting mergers and acquisitions, and a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline. Critical areas of focus for this role are vendor consolidation, cost optimization, and organizational development. The role requires an individual with exceptional analytical and financial acumen, strong strategic thinking, and the ability to influence across multiple teams.
