Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Supervisor (New York)

This is a full-time position for a licensed Clinical Psychologist to supervise a team of 5‑10 therapists. The individual caseload requirement for this position adjusts based on the number of supervisees. The annual salary range is $157,920 to $177,600. We are seeking a clinician who shares our vision of keeping psychodynamic theory alive while meeting the compliance requirements of managed care. Our Model The Create Model effectively utilizes psychodynamic theory to assess the appropriateness of other evidence‑based interventions through a holistic assessment of the client, comprehensive treatment planning, and a systematic approach to tracking progress while using our LifeWork Map to evaluate core competencies of the therapist. C Collaborate to ensure that the unique dynamic between the therapist and the client is conducive to personal growth and self‑discovery. R Roadblocks are the root cause of the presenting problem preventing the client from reaching their desired outcomes. E Equip with insight and other evidence‑based interventions to overcome roadblocks. A Acknowledge when a client utilizes newly acquired skills and insights to reach their goals. T Track the client’s overall growth routinely to determine if the therapist needs to adapt treatment interventions to the unique needs of the client. Guiding Principles T herapeutic Frame: The purpose of having a therapeutic frame is to guide clinicians in their interactions by providing a structure for self‑evaluation. The therapeutic frame is meant to help maintain productive relationships. It allows clinicians to recognize and examine when their bias may be present and emphasizes self‑awareness. I ndividualized Information: Clinicians become aware of what is meaningful to the client in order to create their Life Map. We examine their goals, desires, values and motivation. Individualized information also includes diagnostic considerations in the context of these personal factors. P rotocols, Policies And Procedures: Maintaining awareness of our ethical and legal obligations as licensed clinicians is always an important consideration in therapeutic work. Landmarks are therapeutic objectives that help you and your therapist regularly assess whether headed in the right direction and making progress toward your desired outcomes. Roadblocks are the root cause of the presenting problem preventing you from reaching your landmarks and desired outcomes. Equipping Clients We utilize the therapeutic relationship to equip you with insights, actions, feelings, or interpersonal dynamics that help you move closer to your Landmarks and ultimately your desired Destination. For the most part, we equip you to better understand your current thoughts, habits, and behaviors by developing a greater understanding of past learning. Some Cognitive Behavioral strategies, such as relaxation techniques, may be useful to help alleviate symptoms that you desire to change or overcome, however, you will work to understand the origin of these symptoms so if and when these symptoms resurface you will have a better understanding of how to cope with your problems on your own. This flat rate includes all associated documentation tasks, including writing supervision notes and signing supervisee notes. Clinical Sessions: $120.00 per completed session, which includes all associated clinical record‑keeping. Growth & Development: $125.00 per hour for participating in monthly supervisor consultation groups, monthly all‑staff consultations, and assisting with the training of new supervisees. Professional Development: $50.00 per hour for initial onboarding training and required compliance or legal training. Annual Full‑Time Range $157,920 - $177,600. Full‑time positions are dynamically built through a combination of your supervision team size and individual clinical caseload. Positions are developed over a 6‑month ramp‑up period to allow for stable caseload growth. Start Date & Credentialing The start date for this position is flexible.
