Best Accessory Group is a leading designer, manufacturer, and distributor of beauty, personal care, lifestyle, and accessory products sold through major retailers across North America. Our portfolio includes both licensed and private-label brands, with partnerships that include Wrangler, Ben Sherman, Body Glove, Laura Ashley, Betsy Johnson, RCA, and more.

We work with some of the largest retailers in the country, developing innovative products, building strong retail partnerships, and bringing new programs to market. As we continue to grow, we are looking to add an Account Manager who can help expand our footprint with both existing and untapped retail accounts.

Role Description

Best Accessory Group is seeking an Account Manager to drive new business development across retail, wholesale, and distribution channels. This is a hunter-focused sales role for someone who understands wholesale sales, enjoys building relationships, and is motivated by creating new opportunities.

You will be responsible for identifying and developing new retail partnerships, introducing product programs to buyers, and helping expand our presence with major retailers. While the role begins heavily focused on business development, there is long-term opportunity to grow and manage key accounts as relationships are established.

This position is based onsite in Midtown Manhattan.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of wholesale sales, account management, business development, or related sales experience
• Experience selling products into retail, wholesale, distribution, or consumer goods channels
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated and comfortable prospecting new accounts
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
• Ability to work onsite in Midtown Manhattan five days per week

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling beauty, personal care, wellness, lifestyle, apparel, accessory, or consumer products
• Experience working directly with retail buyers or wholesale customers
• Existing relationships within retail, specialty retail, or distribution channels
• Experience developing new business rather than solely managing existing accounts
• Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

Compensation

Base salary is dependent upon experience and qualifications. In addition to base compensation, employees are eligible for performance-based bonus and commission opportunities tied to sales growth and business development results.
