Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 hour weeks available | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit, including exposure to ortho/neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical patient populations (GI, urology, and related surgical cases)
• Maintain a standard staffing ratio of 1:5–6 patients on night shift, with potential flex to 1:7–8 when paired with LPN support
• Float to other Medical Surgical units as needed, typically approximately once per week based on unit needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RNs, LPNs, and Techs
• Adhere to every-other-weekend scheduling requirements
• Complete required orientation during the first two weeks of assignment, including non-billable annual modules

Required Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); pending certification accepted with confirmed willingness to obtain
• Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Willingness to float to other Med Surg units as directed
• Ability to work every other weekend as required
• Proof of flu vaccination required; exemption requests must be submitted within 48 hours of contract signing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including ortho, neurovascular, cardio/pulmonary, and surgical patients
• Supervisor-level professional references available upon request
