Position Summary Position Summary? How do you want to present this? Context: The role requires a combination of inventory management, passenger assistance and customer service measures. Responsibilities Complies with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by implementing related action plans using the Open Door Policy and applying these in executing business processes and practices. Operates forklifts following company standards and guidelines, safely picking up, moving, placing, and positioning merchandise pallets. Completes work assignments and priorities by using policies, data, and resources, collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners, identifying priorities, deadlines, and expectations, carrying out tasks, communicating progress and information, determining and recommending ways to address improvement opportunities, and adapting to change and feedback. Receives stocks and organizes merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers throughout the facility, managing inventory flow, utilizing equipment appropriately, merchandising, working inventory exceptions, correcting shelf capacities, and completing required paperwork, logs, and other documentation. Provides member service by acknowledging the member, identifying member needs, providing guidance and support regarding self‑service technology, assisting with purchasing decisions, locating merchandise, resolving member issues, and promoting products and services. Maintains safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures, conducting safety sweeps, following forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following standard guidelines, and reporting unsafe situations to management. Maintains the sales floor and merchandising presentation, properly zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, removing damaged or out‑of‑date goods, setting up cleaning and organizing displays, maintaining modular integrity, receiving, sorting, staging, and delivering merchandise, ensuring prominent display of promotional and seasonal merchandise, processing defective merchandise,. Ensures club pick‑up orders are filled by assisting with picking orders throughout the day and staging, ensuring products are selected and staged according to policy and procedures, monitoring acceptance time frames, and performing occasional audits for accuracy. Inventory: Handles moves and displays goods in safe and correct ways, tracks goods, maintains in‑stock levels, controls shrinkage, reports poor inventory practices, and uses inventory tools safely and correctly. Forklift: Operates and maintains forklifts safely, reports poor or unsafe conditions, and informs management when forklifts are not in proper working order. Technology: Proactively identifies customers who need help, actively engages them, assists with technology services and items, models and helps others, identifies shrink opportunities, and fixes problems. Qualifications 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification. Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks. Must be 18 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Customer service experience. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
