Job Summary Location: Methodist Corporate Office Address: 825 S 169th St., Omaha, NE Schedule M-F, 7:30 am–4:00 pm, based on business needs Responsibilities Essential Functions (40%): Supporting day‑to‑day HR generalist activities for an assigned customer group, including stay interviews, employee inquiries, benefits, payroll, and compliance with organizational policies. Acting as the first point of contact for general HR inquiries and escalating complex or specialized issues to HR Leadership and Centers of Excellence (CoEs). Serve as initial HR contact and guide employees to HR leadership or CoEs for specialized support. Escalate complex or sensitive issues to ensure timely and effective resolution. HR Program Delivery & Communication (20%): Facilitating the delivery, coordination, and support of HR initiatives, programs, and services. Partnering with HR leadership and cross‑functional departments to implement system‑wide efforts such as employee engagement, wellness, performance management, and professional development programs. Implement and communicate system‑wide HR initiatives. Ensure consistent understanding of initiatives across the organization. HR Process Administration & Employee Experience (20%): Assisting in administering HR systems and processes including onboarding, orientation, employee surveys, stay and exit interviews, recognition programs, and other engagement activities. Enhance the employee experience through engagement activities. Community Engagement & Talent Outreach (10%): Promoting the organization as an employer of choice through outreach and engagement initiatives, representing at job fairs, university events, and networking functions. Support community engagement strategies to attract a diverse workforce. Collaboration with Centers of Excellence (CoEs) (10%): Partnering with CoEs to support the execution of HR initiatives and operational needs. Ensure alignment with organizational goals and consistency across HR functions. Job Requirements Education Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Minimum 2–4 years of HR experience with broad exposure to HR Advisor activities and management collaboration. License/Certification N/A Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Conflict resolution and problem‑solving skills. Ability to influence all levels within the organization. Physical Requirements Light work – Exert up to 20 pounds of force. Occasionally performed tasks: balancing, carrying, crouching, distinguishing colors, lifting, pulling/pushing, standing, stooping/bending, twisting, walking. Frequently performed tasks: grasping, keyboarding/typing, reaching, repetitive motions, sitting, speaking/talking. Constantly performed tasks: hearing, seeing/visual.
