Role Description Role Description We are currently hiring for both a full-time, on-site role based in Morehead, KY, and a remote role. The Clinical Therapist is responsible for providing direct therapeutic services to individuals and families affected by substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities. The Clinical Therapist will coordinate case management activities, collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards. Additional duties include participating in treatment team meetings, contributing to discharge planning and aftercare coordination, and supporting psychoeducation and relapse prevention programming. The role involves ongoing engagement with clients to foster motivation, resilience, and recovery within a structured, supportive clinical setting. Qualifications Strong foundation in Mental Health and Psychology, including assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Experience in Social Work and Case Management, with skills in care coordination, resource linkage, and advocacy for clients and families. Competence in Family Therapy, with the ability to engage families or significant others as part of the treatment and recovery process. Relevant licensure or eligibility (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, LCADC, or equivalent) in the state of Kentucky. Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related behavioral health field. Knowledge of substance use disorders, trauma-informed care, and co-occurring conditions in clinical settings. Effective communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to ethical practice, cultural humility, and maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
