Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner

Whitecap Search Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an urgent care organization in Stamford. This role offers the opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding healthcare network with multiple facilities in lower Fairfield County.

Function

The selected candidate will work in a dynamic urgent care environment, treating patients of all ages (0-100) with non-life-threatening medical needs. Responsibilities include the ability to suture, splint, and read x-rays. The facilities operate from 8am-8pm Monday through Friday, and 9am-5pm on weekends and holidays. The typical schedule is a rotating 2on3off/3on2off, resulting in 14-15 shifts per month. Each site is typically staffed with 2-3 providers and ancillary support staff.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine
• Active CT License
• Board Certification as Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
