About the Job As a Sr. Federal Warehouse Manager, you will create a strategic plan to optimize warehouse operations, establish performance metrics, set improvement goals, and identify cost‑saving opportunities while maintaining quality. The ideal candidate has extensive supply chain knowledge, has built and implemented SOPs, managed ERP/WMS systems, and has experience handling expensive inventory. Autonomy, motivation, and a passion for process improvement are essential. Responsibilities Develop and implement material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with the Federal Acquisitions Regulations (FAR) Part 52.244 and DFARS part View phone number on click.appcast.io. Hire and train talent who can manage material flow per Anduril Federal guidelines. Create processes that increase efficiency (speed & elimination of waste) and effectiveness of materials management. Implement necessary systems that meet Anduril Federal policies on management of government property & inventory according to FAR & DFARS. Implement end‑to‑end material management measures, including FIFO adherence, material variance analysis, cycle time optimization, scrap/obsolescence management, cycle/physical counting, and audits to ensure inventory accuracy and mitigate stockouts or overstocking. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—procurement, production, manufacturing engineering, logistics, and quality—to aid in accurate demand forecasting, procurement planning, and timely delivery of materials. Align material availability with production schedules, minimize disruptions, and meet customer demand on time. Analyze material usage trends, identify opportunities for process improvements, and implement lean practices to optimize material handling, storage, and distribution. Utilize ERP & WMS software systems to track inventory, generate reports, and provide data‑driven insights to support decision‑making and optimize material‑related processes. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control protocols in all material management activities. Lead and develop a high‑performing warehouse team, provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business administration, or equivalent work experience. 12+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management roles within complex engineering/manufacturing companies. 3+ years of experience managing a team of supervisors, associates, or technicians. Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance. Ability to relocate to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local and onsite. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing 50+ reports and strong leadership abilities to develop a team effectively. Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management techniques, and material planning strategies. Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data‑driven decisions. Proficiency in using software systems and tools. Solid understanding of lean principles and experience implementing process improvement initiatives. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment. Knowledge of safety and regulatory compliance standards related to material management activities. Salary Range $129,000 - $171,000 USD (base salary only; equity grants and benefits may be included).
