About the Role

We’re looking for a Field Service Technician to join our growing Service team. This role combines Material Handling equipment installs & inspections with Plant Services , including the installation of conveyors, lifts, carts, and CTEK equipment. Ideal for a machine builder with strong mechanical aptitude who is eager to learn and grow into advanced material handling and automation systems.

What You’ll Do

• Install, assemble, and inspect material handling equipment (cranes, jib cranes, lifts, etc.)
• Install conveyors, carts, lifts, and other plant service equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation drawings
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards on every job
• Document service reports and communicate with customers and internal teams
• Travel regularly to customer sites (regional/national)

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years’ experience as a machine builder, millwright, or service technician
• Strong mechanical skills; ability to learn new equipment quickly
• Experience with conveyors, lifts, carts, or cranes preferred
• Basic electrical/controls knowledge a plus
• Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel extensively
• Strong communication and customer service skills
