MRI Supervisor- Main Campus

Job Overview Ensures that Dayton Children’s first value of Safety is the priority in all aspects of work and environment. Provides direct supervision to all clinical staff in the Department of Medical Imaging. Manages staff time cards and schedule, approves PTO requests, maintains critical staffing levels, and assigns staff to support various departments requiring imaging services. Partners closely with department manager(s) to support clinical operations and employee engagement, performs rounding on patients and families to capture feedback and opportunities for improvement, and assists the manager with staff contribution management, fact finding, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Always exhibits and models organizational values. Responsibilities Provide direct supervision to clinical staff in Medical Imaging. Manage staff time cards and scheduling, including approving PTO requests. Maintain critical staffing levels and assign staff appropriately to support imaging services for various departments. Partner with department manager(s) to support clinical operations and employee engagement. Perform patient/family rounding to capture feedback and identify improvement opportunities. Assist the manager with staff contribution management, fact finding, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Model and exhibit organizational values at all times. Qualifications Associate’s degree in health sciences from an accredited program required. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an imaging technologist. Minimum of 1+ years of leadership experience in a relevant field preferred. Certifications Required CPR certification. MR Supervisor: ARRT registered in MRI; AART‑Magnetic Resonance. Ultrasound Supervisor: ARDMS – American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography. X‑ray/CT Supervisor: ODH and ARRT registered in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
