Position Summary As a Senior Meat Cutter you will drive sales in your area to deliver more of what our members love, for less and work collaboratively to meet expectations. What You’ll Do Be a Team Member – Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, educate associates on tools, tasks, and resources, communicate effectively, develop service skills, maintain inventory, and control shrinkage. Be an Expert – Maintain an in‑depth knowledge of meat products, operate back‑room equipment, process meat per specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, wrapping), ensure food‑safety and sanitation compliance, and manage inventory. Be a Techie – Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, use handheld technology to make immediate production decisions, and encourage tool adoption. Be an Owner – Drive business results, ensure operational excellence, plan profitability, maintain a clean work area, secure merchandise, assist members in purchasing decisions, and ensure proper packaging and storage. Be a Talent Ambassador – Advocate for the department and club, model high‑quality service, train associates to perform assigned duties, and support their development. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity. Complete work assignments using policies, data, and resources while collaborating with managers and partners to prioritize and communicate progress. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour under specific circumstances. Minimum Qualifications At least 6 months’ experience working in a fresh production department. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must successfully complete all required job trainings and assessments within the prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a meat processing area.
