Now hiring PRN Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Registered Medication Aides (RMA), Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) and Nursing Assistants (NA) to join our Friendship Home Care Resource Pool.

This position requires working hours in Friendship North, Friendship Assisted Living, Friendship South, Friendship Salem Terrace, Friendship Richfield Health Center, Friendship Richfield Assisted Living, and/or Home Care.

Shifts Available:

• 8 hour shifts are available
  • 7 a.m. - 3 p.m.
  • 3 p.m. - 11 p.m.
  • 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.
• 12 hour shifts are available
  • 7 a.m. - 7 p.m.
  • 7 p.m. - 7 a.m.

RN/LPN Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provide direct resident care, including medication administration
• Complete timely and accurate electronic health documentation (EHR)
• Manage admission, transfer, and discharge documentation
• Review and follow treatment plans, medication orders, diets, and care directives

RMA Roles & Responsibilities:

• Dispense resident medications as indicated by individual care plan schedules; document medications on the MAR including PRN's and their effectiveness
• Record all medications dispensed on flow sheets, notes, and charts in an informative and descriptive manner
• Assist resident daily with getting in/out of bed, grooming, meals, dressing, and other assigned ADL's
• Evaluate and record vital signs, BP, TPR's and WT's

CNA/NA Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist resident with walking, repositioning, sitting, standing, and bathroom functions with or without the use of medical equipment and toileting
• Comply with all requirements set forth in individual resident care plans utilizing the kardex for guidance
• Report any injuries, skin conditions or other changes to residents' condition or behavior to supervisor immediately

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED, required
• RN/LPN/RMA/CNA or successful completion of a direct care training program approved by the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services
• BLS, Adult First Aid, CPR and AED, preferred
• This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and crouching all day. The employee must frequently lift or move objects weighing over 50 pounds
