Tech - Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Summary:
Provides mobile ultrasound services across various healthcare facilities, including nursing homes, home care facilities, and processing sites. Operates portable sonographic equipment to obtain diagnostic images, ensuring clinical accuracy and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch for assigned cases, arriving promptly at each facility to perform ultrasound exams.
• Unload portable sonographic equipment and conduct diagnostic imaging as ordered by physicians.
• Process and digitally transmit ultrasound images to radiologists for interpretation.
• Verify patient identity through two identifiers and confirm exam accuracy against physician orders.
• Maintain communication with dispatch, clients, and colleagues, responding swiftly to urgent messages.
• Ensure proper maintenance and functionality of sonography equipment and company vehicles.

Qualifications:

• Hold ARDMS or CCI certification in vascular ultrasound and maintain current registration.
• Graduate from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
• Possess a valid driver’s license, with periodic license checks, and reliable transportation.
• Be vaccinated against COVID-19 or provide appropriate exemption documentation.
• Maintain health and safety standards through annual TB screenings and infection control training.
• Exhibit strong organizational skills, professional communication, and the ability to work independently.
