Chief Estimator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Estimator to lead our dynamic estimating team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the construction and environmental sectors, with specialized expertise in fuel facility projects. This role demands a strategic leader who can drive the team towards delivering precise and timely estimates, ensuring the efficiency and success of our Construction and Service Business Units.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the estimating team, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to project deadlines.
Develop and mentor team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Prepare and oversee the preparation of construction and service estimates for projects ranging from $25,000 to $5,000,000.
Ensure all estimates are accurate, consistent, and delivered in a timely manner.
Utilize your expertise in the Pump and Tank Industry to enhance project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in estimating within the construction, environmental, or related industries.
Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with Cost Estimating Software is a plus.
Competence in reading and interpreting plans and project documents.

Location: Farmingdale, NY (Hybrid position with remote work options available)
