This inpatient facility seeks locum tenens coverage for child and adolescent psychiatric services in Appleton, Wisconsin. The unit operates on a structured 7 on/7 off model and is supported on-site by APPs, Residents, and Fellows to facilitate coordinated clinical care. The facility serves a pediatric patient population requiring evaluation, stabilization, and ongoing inpatient psychiatric treatment.

Appleton, Wisconsin offers a range of activities along the Fox River, including scenic trails, live music venues, local art studios, and dining options in its downtown area. Clinicians on assignment may explore attractions such as the Trout Museum of Art, The Fire Art Studio, and the Butterfly Gardens of Wisconsin, as well as a two-mile self-guided Fox Trot Trail that highlights the city's history and riverfront. Nearby destinations, including Kohler-Andrae State Park, Road America, and the Door County peninsula, provide additional options for those looking to extend their visit.

The clinician will provide inpatient child and adolescent psychiatric coverage on a 7 on/7 off schedule, with shifts running 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on-site. The expected daily census per clinician is approximately 10 to 15 patients, within a unit maintaining an average census of 17 patients, inclusive of routine follow-ups, admissions, and discharges. Call coverage is required, with a 20-minute response time; telepsychiatry is not permitted for this assignment. A Wisconsin medical license or IMLC is required, and prescriptive authority is required for this role.
