Registered Nurse Emergency Department Per Diem Evenings

Registered Nurse

Manages individualized, outcome oriented nursing care through the use of the nursing process. Provides care, treatment and services through the successful coordination and completion of a series of processes that include assessment, planning care, providing care, in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Commits to working a minimum of six 8-hour shifts, with at least 2 8-hour shifts worked during the weekend per 4-week schedule. Also works 2 major holidays (1 summer and 1 winter).

Compensation Pay Range: $42.02 - $85.13

Minimum Education - Preferred Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Minimum Work Experience Previous Acute Care RN experience preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications:

• RN - Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
• Emergency Response Training Certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) (Including courses offered through SSH)
• Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) - Emergency Nurses Association - (ENA)
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) - TCAR Education Programs

Shift: 3p-11:30p, rotating weekends and holidays
