Position Overview: 

Godwins Wellness Services is seeking an experienced Maryland Licensed Rehabilitation Specialist to serve our Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program-Minor (PRP-M). The Rehabilitation Specialist serves as a leader responsible for rehabilitation oversight, staff consultation, supervision, quality assurance activities, documentation review, and compliance support. The position works collaboratively with program leadership to ensure services are delivered in accordance with agency policies, Medicaid requirements, and applicable regulatory standards for minors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the designated Rehabilitation Specialist for the PRP-M program.
• Provide consultation and guidance to PRP-M counselors and program staff.
• Complete, review, and approve assessments and rehabilitation plans, and service documentation in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in chart reviews, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance activities.
• Participate in leadership, operational, clinical, and treatment planning meetings as assigned.
• Review rehabilitation goals and service plans at intervals established by agency policy and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide documented supervision and consultation to assigned Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program-Minor (PRP-M) staff in accordance with agency policy and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with billing and quality assurance staff to ensure clinical documentation supports claim submission and audit readiness.
• Monitor documentation quality and timeliness.
• Assist with performance improvement and corrective action planning related to clinical documentation deficiencies.
• Participate in review of incidents, grievances, and compliance concerns as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Active Maryland CFRP Certification in good standing
• Minimum two years of experience providing behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation, Medicaid, and behavioral health documentation standards.
• Experience in Psychiatric Rehabilitation Programs (PRP) preferred.
• Experience with Medicaid-funded behavioral health services preferred.
• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation review, treatment planning, and quality assurance activities preferred.
