Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking School Psychologists for multiple school-based opportunities for the upcoming school year.
Position Details
Start Date: August 12, 2026
Duration: 40 Weeks
Schedule: 37.5 Hours Per Week
Openings: 3
Pay: Up to $65/hr local

Assignment Overview
Serve students across multiple grade levels
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility assessments
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Support student academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
Assist with special education compliance and documentation
Potential to support multiple campuses within the district
Position Highlights
Caseloads approximately 85-100 students
District utilizes SPED counselors to help reduce counseling responsibilities
Strong support from special education teams
Multiple new positions approved for the upcoming school year
Opportunity to focus on assessment, consultation, and student support services
Requirements
Valid School Psychologist License/Credential
Master's Degree in School Psychology or related field
Experience with psychoeducational assessments and special education services preferred
Strong collaboration, communication, and report writing skills

The School Psychologist works to support students through a variety of mental health and developmental issues and aids in qualifying students for additional support services. The School Psychologist is responsible for providing on-site psychological services to students under the jurisdiction of the state and district.
Minimum Requirements:
Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment
Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred
Master's degree in psychology preferred
Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
Current CPR if applicable
TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
