This is a full-time, in-office position offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.About the RoleWe are seeking an Associate Attorney with approximately 3 years of litigation experience to join our growing Memphis office. While experience in defense litigation is preferred, we are open to attorneys from a variety of practice areas who demonstrate strong litigation skills, excellent legal writing abilities, and a desire to grow their practice within a collaborative team environment. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to expand their experience, take on meaningful responsibility, and work alongside experienced litigators representing a diverse client base.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage an active caseload through all phases of litigationDraft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documentsConduct legal research and develop case strategiesPrepare and respond to written discoveryAttend hearings, depositions, mediations, and court appearancesCommunicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and team membersPrepare cases for mediation, arbitration, and trialEnsure compliance with court deadlines and client reporting requirementsCollaborate with attorneys and staff to provide exceptional client serviceQualificationsJuris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law schoolActive member in good standing with the Tennessee Bar (or ability to become admitted promptly)Approximately 3 years of litigation experienceDefense litigation experience preferred, but attorneys from other litigation practice areas are encouraged to applyStrong legal research, writing, and analytical skillsExperience drafting pleadings, motions, and discoveryExcellent organizational, communication, and time-management skillsAbility to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentWhat We OfferQPWB offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer-paid life insurance and short-term disability401(k) with employer matchPaid vacation, holidays, and personal time offOpportunities for professional growth and advancement within a national law firm
