Lead Blockchain Architect

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• We require formal training or certification in architecture concepts plus 5+ years of applied experience.
• We need practical experience across system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• We look for strong delivery capability across the software development life cycle, including automation, continuous delivery, and agile practices such as CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• We need demonstrated depth in a technical field such as cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, or mobile, with the ability to assess current and emerging technologies for future-state solutions.
• We expect experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in engineering and architecture workflows, with disciplined validation practices and attention to data sensitivity.
• We need the ability to incorporate AI-enabled capabilities into cloud-native architectures while meeting resiliency, security, and auditability standards.
• We require hands-on experience with public blockchain platforms, including Ethereum, Solidity, the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), and alternative Layer 1/Layer 2 chains such as Solana, covering smart contract development, deployment pipelines, and token standards such as ERC-20 and ERC-721.
• We need practical knowledge of blockchain ecosystem tooling, including wallets, RPC providers, block explorers, indexers, and on-chain/off-chain integration patterns.

• We partner with technical teams and business stakeholders to discuss and recommend technical approaches that meet current and future needs.
• We define the technical target state for our product and drive execution of the strategy.
• We use enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to speed up architecture discovery and decision-making, applying human review and careful handling of sensitive data.
• We assess and respond to recommendations on new technologies, including structured evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to judge architectural fit within existing systems and information.
• We design, develop, troubleshoot, and deliver creative software solutions that go beyond routine approaches to solve complex technical problems.
• We produce secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
• We identify and automate recurring remediation work to improve the operational stability of our software applications and systems.
• We establish reuse-first, AI-enabled engineering patterns and governance across the software development life cycle and toolchain, with traceability, auditability, resiliency, and security controls.
