Pay $42~$52 per hour Employment Type Full-time Requirements Licensed dental hygienist X-ray / Radiography Certification Job Description Review medical and dental history at every appointment. Perform comprehensive periodontal and oral health assessments. Screen for oral diseases, including oral cancer, caries, and periodontal disease. Recognize conditions that require referral to a dentist or other healthcare provider. Diagnosis and Care Planning Formulate a dental hygiene diagnosis where permitted by regulation. Develop an individualized care plan based on assessment findings. Obtain informed consent before treatment. Provide appropriate preventive and therapeutic services, such as: Scaling and root debridement as indicated. Polishing when appropriate. Fluoride treatments. Sealants (where within scope). Oral hygiene instruction tailored to the patient. Use proper infection prevention and control procedures. Follow current evidence-based clinical guidelines. Patient EducationEducate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, tobacco cessation, and disease prevention. Encourage adherence to recommended recall intervals and home care. DocumentationMaintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical records, including: Assessment findings. Treatment provided. Medical history updates. Informed consent. Patient education. *Recommendations, referrals, and follow-up plans.
