Raytheons Land & Shipboard Effector Guidance Systems (LSEGS) Department is responsible for the delivery of affordable and innovative electrical products. Accountable for program execution including cost schedule and technical oversight throughout the product lifecycle. Providing resources to drive development and sustainment activities of our Land and Naval based electrical products. Our multi-disciplined teams manage a variety of engineering projects while maintaining a work life balance.

What You Will Do

• Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital analog and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro-mechanical systems. Prior hands-on troubleshooting experience is preferred.

• Collaborate and coordinate with Operations Supply Chain Quality and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues that may arise during production testing and integration.

• Shift Information:1st shift (Monday Friday 7am 4pm).

What You Will Learn

• One will gain knowledge of various electrical components Circuit Card Assemblies RF analog digital and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis.

• One will achieve a RTX Core Certification and receive Raytheon Responsible Engineer Authority (REA) Training.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.

• Experience with any of the following: RF analog digital and / or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and / or digital signal processing.

• Experience with laboratory equipment including waveform generators oscilloscopes spectrum analyzers and/or network analyzers.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action investigations.

• Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA EO RF Seeker/Sensor or electronic subsystem; including circuit design CCA assembly electrical test and production/supplier/sub-tier supplier support of test equipment test automation scripting test conduction sensor control printed circuit board fabrication circuit card assembly processes and related industry specifications.

• Experience with any of the following tools: Mentor Graphics Designer PSPICE System Vision MATLAB Mathcad IDL Computer Simulation Technologies (CST) Microwave Design Studio High Frequency Structure Simulator (HFSS) Advanced Design System (ADS) Signal Generator Oscilloscope and Spectrum Analyzer.

• Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links inertial measurement units (IMU) and Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver subsystems.

• Experience with subsystems integration and test post test flight analysis problem investigation Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods in achieving production yield improvements technical writing formal presentation and implementing Engineering Change Notices.

• Self-starter whos capable of working independently as well as with a small technical team. Providing technical oversight and direction cost estimation tracking & reporting coordination preparation of detailed technical team reports and proposal support.

• Willingness to travel less than 10% annually.

• Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

• This is a 1st shift onsite role based in Tucson AZ. 1st Shift hours are Monday Friday 7am 4pm.

The salary range for this role is 86800 USD - 165200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
