Shipping and Receiving Specialist

The role involves working in either the shipping or receiving areas where you will be responsible for packaging and shipping electrical supplies. These supplies can range from small labeled boxes to large electrical spools with wiring. You will be stationed in the loading or receiving areas, unloading trucks, and inputting products into the computer system, necessitating basic scanner and computer skills. You will also use computer systems to set up shipments, coordinate with vendors, track inventory, and ensure all packed orders are correct.

Responsibilities

Package and ship electrical supplies, ranging from small boxes to large spools.
Unload trucks and input products into the computer system.
Set up shipments and coordinate with vendors.
Track inventory using computer systems.
Unpack and verify all items in orders are correct.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rayville, LA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
