Reportsto: Controller AbouttheRole Weareseekingadetail-orientedJobCostAccountanttojoinouraccountingteam.Thisroleisresponsibleformaintainingaccuratejobcoststructures,budgets,andreportingacrossactiveconstruction/projectwork,ensuringcostsareproperlycoded,reconciled,andreportedtosupportprojectmanagersandcompanyleadershipintrackingjobperformance. KeyResponsibilities Setupjobs,phaseandcostcodestructures,andoriginalbudgetsinthejobcostsystem. Enterchangeordersandbudgetrevisions. Codeandpostequipmenthours,materials,subcontractorinvoices,trucking,andfueltothecorrectjobandcostcode. Allocateandreconcileinternalequipmentusageandthird-partyrentalcharges. AssistwithmonthlyWIPschedules-cost-to-complete,percentcomplete,over/underbillings. Supportprogressbilling,payapplications,lienwaivers,andretainagetracking. Reconcilejobcostsubledgertothegeneralledger. Assistwithmonth-endclose,year-endclose,andauditrequests. Maintainsubcontractorandvendorcompliancerecords-W-9s,certificatesofinsurance,1099s. Runjobmargin,unitcost,andproductivityreports;flagjobstrendingoverbudget. AssistProjectManagersonprojectperformance&analysis We'dloveitifyouhave Associate'sorBachelor'sdegreeinAccounting,Finance,orrelatedfieldpreferred Experiencewithjobcostaccounting,preferablyinconstruction,engineering,orarelatedproject-basedindustry Familiaritywithjobcost/ERPsystems StrongunderstandingofWIPschedules,percent-of-completionaccounting,andprogressbilling ProficiencyinExcel;stronganalyticalandreconciliationskills Highattentiontodetailandabilitytomanagemultiplejobcostcodesanddeadlines StrongcommunicationskillstocollaborateeffectivelywithProjectManagersandvendors #J-18808-Ljbffr Sunstall Inc.
