Quality Inspector / Quality Technician

Pay & Schedule

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00/hr

• 1st Shift
• Monday-Friday
• Weekly overtime available

What You'll Do

• Inspect fabricated metal parts and assemblies to ensure they meet customer specifications
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work orders to verify product requirements
• Measure parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, gauges, and other inspection tools
• Perform in-process and final inspections before products move to the next stage or ship to customers
• Verify dimensions, tolerances, weld quality, and overall workmanship
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records
• Identify defects and communicate quality concerns to production teams
• Help maintain quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
• Work closely with welding, fabrication, machining, and production personnel to ensure high-quality products

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and make sound quality decisions
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Franklin Park, IL.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
