Cake Decorator

At Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, we are recruiting a Cake Decorator for the Bakery. The role focuses on producing, decorating, and presenting baked goods for guests. Responsibilities Prepare all items according to recipe standards. Combine all standard mixes and ingredients for cakes and pastries as assigned to production. Frost and decorate all cakes as assigned. Garnish all service trays and cakes for proper presentation. Bake items for specified times and portion for servings. Ensure quality and consistency of finished product. Maintain workstation in compliance with State and Local Health Department codes. Assist pastry chefs with special functions and project preparation and presentation. Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, using hands, reaching, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling; occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Meet vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus ability. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year experience as a scratch baker. Ability to mix, bake, and finish products. Thorough understanding of measurements and use of all equipment in the Pastry Shop. Previous experience with wedding cake decoration and set‑up preferred. Adherence to all grooming standards: no visible tattoos/piercings or unnatural hair colors.
