This position involves painting CNC machines and supporting general shop operations. No prior experience is required—just a strong work ethic and willingness to learn. Training will be provided.Key ResponsibilitiesApply protective coatings using brush, roller, or spray methods to machinery, equipment, and structuresPrepare surfaces and apply finishes following safety and quality standardsDemonstrate working knowledge of various paints, solvents, and application techniquesAssist with general shop duties including crating, assembly, and other tasks as neededInterpret and execute verbal instructions to complete painting and shop assignmentsMaintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company safety standardsProvide guidance and training to team members as requiredSupport other departments and adapt to changing workloads as necessaryJob RequirementsRequired SkillsStrong commitment to safety, quality, and productivityAbility to read and understand specifications and printsAbility to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a teamStrong attention to detail and willingness to learn new skillsGood organizational skills and a positive attitudeGood hand-eye coordination and manual dexterityAbility to install walls or partitions prior to paintingPreferred SkillsExperience in industrial painting or related fieldFamiliarity with surface preparation and coating application processesExperience as a rigger or in general shop workWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration, airborne particles, and machine lubricants and chemicals used in manufacturing processes.
