Material Sorter – Recycling WarehouseJob Title: Material SorterJob Type: Full-TimeLocation: Houston, TX 77040Pay Rate: $12.00/hourPosition Summary: We are looking for dependable and hardworking Material Sorters to join a busy recycling warehouse. Material Sorters are responsible for sorting recyclable materials, removing unwanted items, and keeping materials organized as they move through the facility. This is a hands-on, physical position that requires standing for extended periods and performing repetitive work.Responsibilities:Sort recyclable materials by type and category.Remove trash, non-recyclable items, and contaminants from recyclable materials.Inspect materials for quality and proper sorting.Place sorted materials into designated containers or areas.Keep the work area clean and organized.Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).Work efficiently to meet daily production goals.Communicate safety, equipment, or material issues to a supervisor.Assist with general warehouse duties as needed.Maintain a safe and clean work environment at all times.Qualifications:No previous recycling experience required; training will be provided.Previous warehouse, production, recycling, or general labor experience is a plus.Reliable and dependable attendance.Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.Ability to work effectively as part of a team.Strong work ethic and positive attitude.Willingness to perform repetitive physical work.Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, and repetitive movements.Ability to lift and move materials as required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work around dust, noise, and recycled materials.Must be able to wear required PPE.What We’re Looking For: We’re looking for candidates who are:ReliableHardworkingSafety-consciousPunctualTeam-orientedWilling to learnComfortable working on their feetCompensation & Location: Pay: $12.00/hour Location: Houston, TX 77040Apply today to be considered for the Material Sorter position.
