GI Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

What You’ll Do: Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic GI conditions. Perform patient assessments, including medical history and physical exams. Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. Educate patients on GI health, treatment plans, and preventive care. Provide follow-up care and ensure continuity between visits. Document all patient interactions accurately in the EMR. Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize patient outcomes. Participate in quality improvement and clinical review activities. Qualifications Required: Active North Carolina PA or NP license Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program NCCPA certification (PA) or board certification (NP) Current BLS certification GI experience preferred—but not required.
