Direct Care Aide
Join University Home Care Inc as a Direct Care Aide in Saline, MI, where you will provide compassionate and dedicated support to clients in their daily living activities. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
- Help with mobility and transfer assistance safely and effectively.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients’ health or behavior to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
Requirements
- Prior experience in caregiving or similar roles is a plus but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with direct client care.
- Reliable and punctual with a compassionate attitude.
- Pass applicable background checks and comply with company policies.
