We're looking for a driven, relationship-focused Account Executive to manage and grow a multi-state territory across Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced medical sales professional who enjoys building long-term partnerships, developing new business, and making a meaningful impact in healthcare.

What You'll Do

As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for driving territory growth while delivering exceptional service to distributors, hospitals, and healthcare providers.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, manage, and grow customer and distributor relationships throughout your assigned territory.
  • Achieve and exceed territory sales goals through strategic account management and new business development.
  • Identify and qualify prospective customers through networking, outbound prospecting, referrals, and cold calling.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and professional sales presentations.
  • Develop customized proposals and solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Provide product education, in-service training, and ongoing support for distributors and end users.
  • Manage sales opportunities, customer activity, and pipeline within HubSpot CRM.
  • Respond to customer inquiries through HubSpot and Zendesk.
  • Plan and execute an effective travel schedule to maximize territory coverage.
  • Represent Intersurgical at regional and national trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Previous sales experience within the medical device or healthcare industry.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage a large multi-state sales territory independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (HubSpot experience is a plus).

Travel Requirements

This is a field-based sales role with extensive travel.

Candidates must be willing and able to:

  • Travel throughout Iowa, Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas.
  • Travel up to three weeks per month , including overnight stays and occasional weekends.
  • Attend regional and national trade shows, meetings, and customer events.
  • Maintain a valid passport for occasional international travel.
  • Manage travel expenses responsibly.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
  • Maintain required immunizations necessary for hospital and healthcare facility access. Intersurgical reimburses standard immunization costs required for vendor credentialing.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
